Snapback, a Rome Italy-based startup that creates touchless interfaces for smart devices, raised €450k in funding.
Smart&Start – Invitalia and unnamed business angels provided the funding.
The company, which had previously received a €150k award from European Commission-backed INCENSe, intends to use the funds to expand its business.
Led by Giuseppe Morlino, CEO and Co-founder, Snapback has developed an app that enables the utilization of smartphones, tablets, tv and wearable devices leveraging sensors in them in order to improve the user experience via gesture and audio with no need of peripheral devices.
The company, which was accelerated within Luiss Enlabs and part of LVenture Group‘s portfolio, aims to target workplace safety and automotive markets, both in italy and abroad.
